Rocky Mountain Slayer C70 + XT Di2 Upgrade
Colour: Grey/Black
Short description
180mm of big-hit capability, a carbon frame, coil suspension and an XT Di2 upgrade. The Slayer is built for riders who prefer their trails steep, rough and slightly unreasonable.
Full description
The Rocky Mountain Slayer C70 is built for one thing: going very fast through very rough terrain.
With 180mm of front and rear suspension, a Smoothwall carbon frame and a mixed-wheel setup, the Slayer is designed for aggressive riding, big terrain and bike park days. It's long, slack and confidence-inspiring, with the kind of suspension platform that encourages you to stop looking for the smooth line.
The C70 features Rocky Mountain's Ride-4 adjustable geometry system, allowing you to tune the bike's handling to suit different terrain and riding styles. A carbon chassis keeps the bike responsive, while the coil-sprung rear suspension is built to keep working when the trail gets rough, steep and repetitive.
The build includes a Fox 38 Performance Elite GRIP2 fork, Fox DHX2 Performance Elite coil shock, powerful 4-piston brakes, heavy-duty wheels and reinforced tyres designed for serious descending.
This particular bike also comes with an XT Di2 upgrade, giving you electronic Shimano shifting as part of the package.
The Slayer isn't pretending to be a lightweight XC bike. It will climb, but that's not why you're buying it.
You're buying it because the trail has rocks, roots, drops, jumps, steep descents and generally poor manners.
Highlights
Smoothwall Carbon frame
180mm front and rear travel
Fox 38 Performance Elite GRIP2 fork

Why we like the Slayer
Sometimes you don't need a bike that's good at everything. Sometimes you just want a bike that encourages questionable decisions on steep trails. The Slayer understands that.
